The Nut House Pub & Grille in Kent serves craft pizzas, jumbo wings and a long shareables list — Reuben Rolls, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Bavarian Pretzel and more. Order pickup through the Toast storefront or call (330) 548-9183. Open 11am weekdays, 9am weekends, until 2:30am.
Three things run this kitchen: pizza, wings, and a shareables list that is longer than it needs to be in the best possible way. Everything below is what the pub makes, and the number on each row is the price from the printed menu in the building.
Start with the shareables, because most tables here do. Reuben rolls are the signature move: house corned beef, kraut, Swiss, and Thousand Island, rolled and fried. Wisconsin cheese curds come out with marinara alongside. Jalapeno poppers are bacon-wrapped and stuffed with sausage and cream cheese. The Bavarian pretzel arrives with stadium mustard, and cod bites come with boom boom sauce.
Keep going down that list and you find candied bacon and onion dip built on four cheeses, buffalo chicken dip with fresh tortilla chips, grilled artichokes with lemon and garlic aioli, a blackened quesadilla with cheddar jack and grilled chicken, and game time nachos loaded with chicken, three cheeses, and jalapenos. That is a full evening of food before anyone has ordered a main thing.
The craft pizzas are the reason a lot of people make the trip down Water Street. Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza pairs pepperoni and mozzarella with a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey, sweet, hot, and salty in that order. Deluxe Pizza is the maximalist option: pepperoni, sausage, bacon, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. BBQ Chicken Pizza brings grilled chicken, barbecue, red onion, and a three-cheese blend. One Topping BYO Pizza is there for the table that cannot agree, then 1.50 for each added topping.
Jumbo wings close it out. Traditional, tossed in the sauce you pick, or boneless and hand-breaded. They are the order that works at the bar, at a table, during a game, or in a box on the way home.
Nothing on this list needs explaining to a table and nothing arrives trying to be clever. It is a menu built to be eaten while something else is going on.
Prices on this page come from the printed Nut House menu. Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza is 15.99, Deluxe Pizza is 16.99, and One Topping BYO Pizza starts at 14.99 before extra toppings. Wings are listed by the half dozen and the dozen. If a special is running in the room tonight, the printed weekly note at the pub still wins over a guess.
The same goes for specials: the venue record carries no standing deal, so there is nothing this page can promise. Ask at the bar, or check @thenuthousepub_ on Instagram, where anything short-lived tends to appear first.
For pickup, use the Toast storefront linked from this site — pick your pizzas and wings, pay, and collect. It is the quickest path from wanting food to holding food.
To eat in, walk in; the bar takes small numbers and the tables take the rest. For a big order or an awkward timing, call (330) 548-9183 and talk to somebody.
The kitchen's window is wide. Doors open at 11am Monday through Friday and 9am on Saturday and Sunday, and the pub runs to 2:30am every night, so a pizza at eleven at night is a normal order rather than a favour.
Weekday lunch is the calmest hour to eat here. Late weekend nights are the busiest. Both get the same menu.
